Attorney at Law & Entrepreneur, Kirsten Curry has tenured experience in the retirement plan and financial services industries. Included in Kirsten’s extensive resume is Founder and CEO of Leading Retirement Solutions (LRS), Past Co-President of Women of Seattle University Alumni Chapter and Board Member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. Kirsten is also the recipient of numerous awards including the 2018 Enterprising Women of the Year Award.
Kirsten is leading the conversation about the retirement savings gap of women having launched, in 2017, the first nationwide study of women business owners and leaders to better understand their financial and retirement preparedness.
Duron graduated from Seattle University in 2014 with a major focus in business management and a minor focus in innovation & entrepreneurship. He is the owner of Innovation Tribe of America, a management consulting and event planning firm. Duron is passionate about helping fellow business owners in the Seattle University connect with one another and build together as social justice business leaders.
Starting as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in 2014, Scott Newton has decades experience in investing and focuses on retirement strategies, both with individuals and business retirement plans. Scott completed his master's in public administration at Seattle University and was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society and Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society for scholastic achievement.
Scott served our country as a Marine officer (19 years of service), deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan. He was designated a naval aviator flying the F/A-18 Hornet and held many command positions during his military tenure.
He and his wife, So Young, live in Bothell. They enjoy watching their two boys, Alex (13) and Brandon (8) grow up, and walking their german shepherd, Quora, through the neighborhood. As a Taekwondo black belt, Scott enjoys assisting his boys in their study of Taekwondo and he's hooked on coaching youth sports.
